I have tried to bring some structure into it, but not all books will fit into a single subject. NOTE: I haven't read these books, and the comments are from other people. The latest version of this file can be obtained by ftp from ftp.cs.ruu.nl [131.211.80.17] in pub/MIDI/DOC/bibliography or by mail from mail-server@cs.ruu.nl (send a message with HELP in the body). From the mail-server the filename without pub/ should be used. The latest monthly version is also available in the various news.answers archives around the world, in music/midi/bibliography. The only sequencer that now works this way for me is Power Tracks Pro -- I can't get a paste command to work in either Midisoft Studio or the Midisoft Recording Session. Has anybody else had this problem, and if so is it a characteristic of Midisoft? Thanks, Emory Menefee ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 1 May 1995 01:11:14 +0200 From: Piet van Oostrum Subject: Midi files/software archives on the Internet There is a list of ftp and mail server archives with MIDI documentation, programs and music on the Internet. I recently purchased (silly enough?) a Sound Blaster Midi cable to connect myGUS with my synth (PSR-60 of Yamaha). As expected there was no response in any kind of way. No incoming data neither outgoing data, both under DOS (Midifier) and Windows 3.11 & Windows 95 using Midisoft. Does anybody know if there's a chance to make my that silly midi cable work? BTW there's no way of purchasing that MidiBox of Gravis's here. Other way outs please?
